About SOKIT Beauty
Here at SOKIT, we are Skincare Obsessed!
But we are also moms, professionals, daughters, wives, girlfriends, homemakers, trying to make it all work.

We understand that most people don’t have time to put together a skincare routine so we assembled a Skincare Obsessed team to research, test, and curate a monthly care-kit so you can try some of the latest, most innovative, and best sheet masks out there! Our kits are designed to complement your daily skincare routine – simply pop a mask when you feel your skin needs extra love and relax while it works its magic!
Our goal is to facilitate or eliminate the research process for you and introduce you to new products you’ll love!
What is a sheet mask?
Sheet masks are a face-shaped sheet soaked in serum (a liquid solution of nutritious and hydrating ingredients). The sheet is typically made of fiber, cotton, cellulose, or coconut pulp, and you place it on your face by lining up the holes over your eyes and mouth.
Why use a sheet mask?
Beauty truly is a process that involves time, patience, and lots of products: toner, essence, ampoule, moisturizer, to name a few. Sheet masks simplify your beauty regime and they work as a physical barrier that prevents the evaporation of beneficial ingredients thereby maximizing the absorption of all the serum by your skin. Masking is like applying a super-powered moisturizer, rather than a regular moisturizer, and the sheet is holding the serum in place for your skin to absorb it all!
How often can I use sheet masks?
We specialize in Korean sheet masks. In Korea, many celebrities follow the "one day, one pack" regimen, which, as its name suggests, consists in using one sheet mask per day. Unless you have acne-prone skin*, this regimen is a great way to maintain a dewy, hydrated skin.
If you can’t indulge in a mask a day, we recommend masking at least 3 times a week.
*If you are susceptible to breakouts and/or acne prone, we recommend limiting sheet masks to once a week.
How do I know which one to pick?
There are so many options when it comes to sheet masks. In fact, our Skin Obsessed team spends hours and hours trying, reading, researching sheet masks to be able to bring the best and most innovative kit for you! If you don’t have the time and energy to get through hundreds and thousands of options and just want to start masking, we recommend our expertly curated kits.
On the other hand, if researching and reading about ingredients gets your heart pumping and your skin plumping, then please browse through our website paying special attention to the “Ingredients we love” section for each sheet mask.
How do I use sheet masks?
Simple! Wash your face, pat dry and apply the sheet mask. After 15-20 minutes, remove the mask, pat your face to “seal” the moisture and done! But we are Skincare Obsessed, so here goes the long version:
1) Wash your face. If you have heavy make-up on, make sure you double-cleanse (meaning, first remove the make-up using an oil based formula, and then use a water-based formula for the second cleanse). Stay tuned, we are working hard to bring you some double-cleanse combos in the near future!
2) Open your sheet mask and apply onto your face. When you put your sheet mask on, start at your forehead and slowly work your way down your face. Carefully place the holes over your eyes, then continue to lay the mask over your mouth, and down to your chin. To maximize your sheet mask benefits, you want the mask to hug every inch of your face as much as possible. If there are any bumps, bubbles, or wrinkles in the sheet mask, gently smooth them out.
Pro tip!
For an out-of-this-world refreshing feel, refrigerate your unopened sheet mask for at least 20 minutes prior to use (or just keep your sheet masks in the fridge so they are always ready to go!)
For super absorption and relaxation, try warming up your sheet mask by running it (unopened, in its original packaging) under hot water for a few minutes. The warm sheet mask helps soften the outer skin layer and allows more of the serum to get in.
3) Leave on for 15-20 minutes. Some people think that the longer you leave the sheet mask on the better, but 15-20 minutes is the sweet spot. You’ll want to take the sheet mask off before the mask starts to feel dry to avoid any reverse-osmosis effects (this is when the dry sheet starts absorbing the moisture back from your skin). Left it for too long? No problem, consistent application is the key and just keep aiming for the right timing.
Pro tip!
Mask while you relax: Netflix and mask? Yes, please!
Mask while you multitask: Mask while you WFH. Enough said.
4) Remove the sheet mask, pat your face with your hands and done! Make sure you don’t wash your face immediately after masking. You’d be removing all the wonderful serum you just applied.
