REVIEW: Yadah Cactus Toner Pads
What exactly is toner?
Toner is the first step (after cleansing) in the Korean skincare routine. It is normally a water-like liquid that delivers some hydration while helping remove dead cells off the surface of the skin. Toner acts as a primer to prep your skin to absorb your skincare products. Korean skincare products have many great toner options for all different skin types!
Just think of your skin as (dry) soil. If you pour lots of water all of a sudden, the soil won’t absorb all of it as it is not “prepped”. But if you slowly wet the soil, it will sink in the moisture more easily.
Who should use toner?
Everyone should use toner! But it is especially beneficial for those with oily skin, are prone to acne, have dry skin or wear makeup, because toner helps moisten, clean out pores and remove excess oil.
How to use toner?
First, make sure your face is cleansed. Immediately after drying your face, you can either tap toner directly onto your hands, or you can use a cotton pad to gently swipe it around the face.
